1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Bit2Sky, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.
2. Description of Services
Bit2Sky provides the following healthcare communication services:
- Telehealth video visits (one-on-one and group sessions)
- Appointment scheduling and management
- Patient records and clinical documentation
- SMS notifications (appointment reminders, verification codes, care coordination)
- Secure messaging between patients and providers
- Waiting room management
- Prescription management
3. Account Registration
To use Bit2Sky, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. SMS Terms and Conditions
By opting in to SMS notifications, you agree to the following:
- You consent to receive automated SMS messages from Bit2Sky at the phone number you provided
- Message types include: appointment reminders, telehealth session links, verification codes, scheduling confirmations, and care coordination notifications
- Message frequency varies based on your appointments and account activity (typically 1-10 messages per month)
- Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details
- SMS is not required to use Bit2Sky services
- You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message
- Reply HELP for assistance or contact [email protected]
- Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most major US carriers
- We are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier issues
5. Telehealth Services
Bit2Sky facilitates telehealth consultations but does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All medical services are provided by licensed healthcare providers. You acknowledge that:
- Telehealth is not a substitute for in-person medical care in emergencies
- Technical issues may occasionally affect video/audio quality
- You are responsible for ensuring a private, appropriate environment for telehealth visits
6. Privacy and HIPAA
Your use of Bit2Sky is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and maintain appropriate safeguards to protect your Protected Health Information (PHI).
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the system
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the platform to transmit malicious software
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Bit2Sky are owned by Bit2Sky Inc. and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bit2Sky Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Bit2Sky, including but not limited to:
- Service interruptions or technical failures
- Delayed or undelivered SMS messages
- Unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to protect credentials
- Actions or decisions made based on information provided through the platform
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Bit2Sky is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Loudoun County, Virginia.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of Bit2Sky after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
